Show-Me Network connects Missouri entrepreneurs with no-cost business support and growth opportunities

Network connectors, resource providers drive opportunities.
Finding funding, accessing legal and accounting advice and getting trusted feedback on a business plan have long been barriers for many entrepreneurs. Not knowing where to turn, or not having the cash flow to hire professional advisors can prevent promising ideas from becoming viable businesses.
A statewide initiative is working to change that.
Through the Show-Me Network, led by efactory at Missouri State University and codefi, entrepreneurs across Missouri can access business support, training and connections at no cost. The initiative connects founders with experienced technical assistance providers, business consultants and educational programming designed to help startups launch and grow.
The network operates through a growing system of regional and community “connectors.” These local organizations help entrepreneurs identify resources and participate in business training close to home. Together, these partners create entry points for entrepreneurs across the state to tap into a broader ecosystem of expertise and opportunity.
Entrepreneurs who engage with the network can schedule meetings with technical assistance providers, connect with business consultants and access specialized training designed to strengthen their business fundamentals. A full calendar of localized programming and virtual training opportunities helps founders build skills in areas such as validating business ideas, preparing for capital investment and developing sustainable business models.
The network also connects entrepreneurs to potential funding pathways and prepares businesses to pursue capital opportunities through structured training and advising.
The effort is made possible through funding from the federal State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Technical Assistance program, administered in Missouri through the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The initiative supports startups and small businesses by helping them become investment-ready and better positioned to access available capital programs.
Building on the earlier Southern Missouri Innovation Network, the Show-Me Network expands that model statewide, strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystems in both rural and urban communities and helping more founders access the expertise and connections needed to succeed.
