Big idea? Small business? Your next step starts in Sedalia.

You don’t have to build a business alone.
Whether you’re exploring a business idea, preparing to launch, or already running a small business, knowing where to turn for support can make all the difference.
Starting and growing a business comes with questions. Where do you begin? Who can help you navigate challenges or explore new opportunities? What resources are available? And how can you prepare to access the funding your business needs?
If you’ve ever asked yourself those questions, we’ve got an invitation for you.
Meet your next business resource in Sedalia
On Nov. 13, the Show-Me Network is bringing Show-Me Roadshow: Intro to Entrepreneurship to Sedalia. The one-hour session will connect aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small business owners with resources to help them start, strengthen, and grow their businesses.
The event brings together the Show-Me Network, Missouri SBDC at State Fair Community College and Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce to introduce participants to the organizations, expertise, and support available in their community and across Missouri. From business planning and technical assistance to capital readiness and financing resources, participants will learn where to turn for help at every stage of business.
What will you learn?
During the session, you’ll learn about:
- Local and statewide resources. Discover organizations and programs that support Missouri entrepreneurs and small businesses.
- One-on-one business assistance. Connect with resources that can help you navigate challenges, strengthen operations, and plan for growth.
- Funding and access to capital. Learn about financing resources and technical assistance available to help your business prepare for and pursue funding opportunities.
- Next steps for your business. Identify resources and connections to help you move forward, whether you’re starting a business or growing an existing one.
