Jan 12, 2026

The Show-Me Network, in partnership with Justine PETERSEN, is launching a full calendar of free virtual educational events designed to strengthen the skills of entrepreneurs and small business owners across Missouri.  Beginning January 2026, this yearlong “Lunch and Learn” series will provide practical, no-cost training on essential topics including funding options, business planning, financial management, government contracting, building long-term business value, and more.

The partnership with Justine PETERSEN strengthens the Show-Me Network’s ability to deliver consistent, statewide support aimed at improving financial confidence, expanding access to capital, and helping entrepreneurs navigate the full spectrum of business challenges. Together, the organizations are building a connected pipeline of resources that meet business owners where they are.

“All Missouri entrepreneurs deserve access to high-quality, no-cost education that helps them build stronger, more resilient businesses,” said Chrystal Irons, Director of Business Support and Training at the efactory and Missouri SBDC at MSU. “This statewide series ensures business owners have the knowledge they need to make confident financial decisions, plan for growth, and access the capital that helps them succeed.”

Each session will be hosted online from Noon –1 p.m. and is offered at no-cost. The sessions are open to any Missourian looking to enhance their foundational business knowledge and prepare for growth.

“As the administrator of Missouri’s SSBCI IgniteMO loan program, Justine PETERSEN connects small business borrowers to high-quality technical assistance workshops offered in collaboration with the Show-Me Network,” said Aida Richardson, Chief Revenue Officer. “These partnerships exemplify strong leadership in advancing Missouri’s small business ecosystem, and we value the opportunity to work together to expand the resources and opportunities available to entrepreneurs statewide.”
